The Fantasy Wonderland exhibition catalogue presents a comprehensive documentation of the curatorial concept and outcomes of the eponymous exhibition at the Tainan Art Museum. The publication includes the exhibition statement as well as Peiti Wang’s essay, “Boy’s Love: Female Gaze and Aesthetics of Delusions,” which examines, from the perspectives of gender and cultural studies, how Boy’s Love (BL) culture enters and is recontextualized within the field of contemporary art.
The catalogue further features selected plates of key works and installation views, tracing the curatorial process from conceptual development to its realization in the exhibition space. A limited-edition postcard set is also included, transforming one of the exhibition’s widely celebrated thermochromic interactive works into a collectible keepsake, extending the viewing experience beyond the gallery.
